There is a cyber cake on the cyber table

Cyber tea is being served in the woods,

When did my life become a mixture of things not understood?

There are cyber faces in the window,

Cyber names that write to me.

A peculiar sensation,

When all that is a part of the computer is a part of me.

I do not look at the scare,

I pay no attention to the words, But view the tops of the trees,

To the world that is waiting, But its hands are empty.

No plays are shown today,

All movies are seen,

Going home to live within the TV.

When did the world become so connected,

When did it become so obscure,

And when did I become part of this blur.

Monday I sat down , and wondered,

What did I see?

The use of a computer,

Had almost escaped me.

And now I am here,

not paying attention to the words, and I wonder,

Has a cyber trap truly caught me?
